Yummy!

Lately I have found a few recipes that I have been loving!
 Whole Wheat waffles with light whip and fruit 




  • 2 cups whole wheat flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 tablespoons splenda (or regular white sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups fat free milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons apple sauce

Mix them all together and bake them in the waffle iron!  Then top with light whip cream and  your favorite fruit :)


Black Bean and Cilantro salsa 






  • 1 (15 ounce) can yellow corn, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can white corn, drained
  • 1 (15 ounce) cans black beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 bunch finely chopped cilantro
  • 5 green onions, finely sliced
  • 1 small red onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup lime juice
  • 1 avocado - peeled, pitted, and diced

Mix all together and enjoy with your favorite kind of chips. ( Try tostidos lime)
